John Herrington

John Herrington, AIA, LEED AP, has been practicing architecture for 18 years, with experience in a variety of typologies, architectural styles, and scales. Throughout his practice, John has focused on projects involving the retrofitting of suburban areas into pedestrian-friendly urban environments and the revitalization of the urban fabric through renovations and infill development.

Since joining McClennan Architects, John has focused on multifamily projects in the D.C. metropolitan region. He has honed his ability to develop details and construction drawings, as well as to move projects through the various approvals processes in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
