The design of Tevis Place combines contemporary sustainable design with aesthetic precision. The structure comprises of 5 stories of wood framing sitting upon a 2 story concrete podium. The facade, adorned with a rhythm of rain screens, windows, and balconies, responds directly to the cityscape along Nebel Street. Simultaneously, the building responds directly to the environment through the implementation of geo-thermal heating and cooling, high efficiency mechanical systems, and a solar ready albedo rooftop. These aspects exceed performance codes and meet the requirements for the US Passive House Certification.
